The manufacturing of the scarves is made on pure silk twill. The patterns are hand-printed using the original silk-screen printing method. The hems are hand rolled and also locally produced in the Swiss canton of Appenzell. The dyes are certified according to Oeko-Tex® Standard 100, washable and skin-friendly. The silk is produced ecologically and fairly by Società Serica Trudel in Italy.
 
The pattern of the silk foulards and the boxes was created by the Swiss poster designer and typographer Dafi Kuehne. The motif was carved in linocut and printed each box individually from a two tons heavy printing press. The silk foulards are available together with one of the 120 limited edition boxes.
